Easter Bunnies

With Easter right around the corner, we thought we’d share some of the cutest bunnies around. But how did these cute little ones become associated with Easter? The Bible doesn't appear to mention of any long-eared, fluffy tailed creatures who hops around our gardens delivering decorative eggs on Sunday to well behaved children. However, they are widely recognised as symbols of Christianity and Easter. While no one is sure, rumour has it that it originated among German Lutherans who immigrated to America and transported their tradition of egg-laying called "Osterhase". Children made nests in which if they had behaved well since Eastertide, a cute little fluffy bunny rabbit could lay its decorative coloured eggs.
